On the morning of July 27, 2023, at 10:58 a.m., the ignition
ceremony for the second coke oven (Coke Oven No. 1) of Risun Group's 4.8
million tons per year coking project at the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park
was held. This is another significant milestone for the project following the
commissioning of the first coke oven on July 19, marking the countdown to
production for this coke oven.
The ignition ceremony at the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park
was simple yet enthusiastic. More than 70 people attended the event, including
Yang Lu, Executive Director of the Group, representatives from PT. Risun Wei Shan
Indonesa, leaders from construction and supervision units, and personnel from
the Jakarta, Haikou, and Xingtai offices of the industrial park participating
online.
The ceremony was presided over by Wang Zhenhu, the Chief Engineer
and Deputy General Manager of PT. Risun Wei Shan Indonesa. After speeches by
representatives from the Risun Wei Shan team, construction, and supervision
units, Yang Lu made a solemn announcement: "The ignition of the second
coke oven of Risun Wei Shan's 4.8 million tons per year coking project is
officially initiated!"
With Yang Lu holding a
torch to ignite the No. 18 burner on the machine's side, the leaders and
employee representatives present followed the protocol to ignite the coke oven
one by one. With the ceremony attendees on-site and other personnel witnessing
the event online, the ignition of the second coke oven for Risun Group's 4.8
million tons per year coking project at the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park
was successfully completed.
